I was looking over the baltimore comic con news and figured i should post my thoughts on what i feel is good news and bad news.

THE GOOD

- YOUNG AVENGERS RETURN!!!

This is awesome plus the line up for the mini is going to be great.

Ed Brubaker - Patriot in #1.    (The writer of cap writing the patriot….AWESOME!!)
Brian Reed - Hulkling meeting Captain Mar-vell in #2. (This could be intresting with the whole secret invasion stuff coming up.)
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa - Wiccan and Speed in #3. (Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa is one of the most under used writers at marvel he is a GENIUS and his writing is really top notch. I have a feeling in a few years he will be like the next Brian K. Vauhgn.
Paul Cornell - The Vision in issue #4. (Anyone know who this is? Anyone?)
“We haven’t said who’s doing the fifth issue. So there will be more Young Avengers stuff on the way.” ( I assume this will be the new writer of Young Avengers after the mini but you never know.)

- Secret Invasion

This event looks very promising!! The who do you trust tagline rocks!!!

- DIXON ON ROBIN

Yes, chuck dixon writes very formula-madic (pretty sure, i just made that word up.) However, its true he rights very liner you can almost predict what is coming next. However, can you tell me its no good? He creates a great side cast.  He also really builds the book up. His nightwing run is one of the best runs in comic recent history. Infact, everyone since then has really been a let down on some level or another.

THE WAIT AND SEE

- X-Men Disassembled

The break down of the X-Men is pretty exciting……kind of.

I liked Avengers Disassembled it was a OH SHIT moment in comics. It was really the start of the new marvel universe.  However, what is coming in X-Men is a mystery currently they are really building excitement.However, i dont know that a drastic change is needed…..Ill have to wait and see.

- THE BAD 

-The Tiny Titans, is this a joke?? I mean what the hell. X-Babies does SO WELL…..i really feel that DC should follow that build that baby business??. (please note my sarcasm.)

- NIGHTWING-Nightwing is almost hands down my favorite charecter in the DC UNIVERSE. However, that being said Wolfman hasnt floored me with his run and Bruce jones can run was the worse comic i have ever read. Now before that we had Chuck Dixon….THE MAN and Devin Grayson. Graysons run was not the best however she was really trying to do a badass fall from grace storyline. It was pretty cool and i have to say the ending was pretty good. However, the build up was a little slow.

Anyways, thats my Baltimore Report.
